The addition of a Dispatch & Tracking capability (sometimes called C3) to any network cna greatly enhance its effectiveness and utility. Based on a ‘client/server’ model, a software package is installed on a PC in your office which in turn connects to one or more of your networked repeaters.
This allows the Dispatcher. Controller or Watchkeeper to monitor all network traffic right at his desk. He can also speak to individuals or teams out on the ground using the microphone and speaker plugged into the PC. Finally, with GPS enabled radios, he can also see the locations of all radio users and vehicles, accurate to within a few metres.
G6 has installed many of these systems across the UK and throughout the world, so contact us for more information and an estimate of the costs involved.
If you do not want to go to the expense of having your own system installed, we offer a service that allows you to connect to our system based in London and currently with coverage in the south east of England and across Herefordshire, with other locations on the roadmap for 2015.
More information for Dispatch & Tracking (c3) will be added shortly.
